lame poem

Afraid of being lame
What a shame
All my efforts seem to go in vain
I wonder what I’ll have to do
To let go of the pressure around this crew
Being re-birthed in my lowest of lows
To let go of this stigma of being a foe
Yes, a foe of society’s standards
A relief in your mind from sick planters
Hah, what a dreadful thing to share
Why I even care for those who never dare
Dare to share my deepest truth
Bare, bold, strange but to soothe
Soothe those whose fear rules every fiber of their soul
A prisoner of fools who know not live but control

Words keep me grounded, curious, and always creating.
