We have arrived. As a collective, we have officially been initiated into the Age of Aquarius and have the gift of information. The information we have available now is truly incredible, to say the least, and it is spreading like wildfire, and there is absolutely nothing that can stop it. We have information from scientists, philosophers, mathematicians, mystics, poets, yogis, and psychologists, not to mention the advent of AI and anything anyone can ever dream of. It is here, and it is here to stay, to be analyzed, experimented with, and experienced, also for the betterment of our mental health. This includes the many complexities of human nature, various personality inclinations, tendencies, and disorders. The only word I can think of to describe the gift available on the brink of this new millennium is simply incredible.
Obviously, there is still a lot of room for growth, as we are all still preoccupied with problems and learning to adapt to this new age of information. We all have problems, and we all use this information to ask about where we stand, what we stand with, and how to move forward. It is natural, and it is something we can try to have a little bit more fun with and not take so seriously. At the same time, we can also use this information for the betterment of our mental health, daily habits, and patterns that create inharmony. As we learn to acknowledge what creates inharmony, we can keep up with the elevation of frequency that is currently occurring within the collective.
Mental Health
If there were one slogan I could use to describe what is happening in the 21st century, it would be mental health awareness. The amount of information that is surfacing during these times is something I myself cannot keep up with. The nuances and intrinsic details of prevalent attachment styles, sexual attraction within relationships, and various personality inclinations or disorders can often become way too complex for our mental capacity to handle, especially when we get lost in the minute details. We are holding a microscopic lens to magnify all that there is to learn about human nature, which is beautiful. But we also have to learn to keep enough distance and see things from a bird’s eye view.
Many of our different tendencies, inclinations, and unconscious attractions have to do with how we evolved as a species, and we have to keep in mind that our survival and evolution as a species played a big role in those very same tendencies and inclinations. Even when it comes to certain personality traits and disorders that we now deem brutal or barbaric. Because our understanding of both good and evil expands while recognizing various psychological impulses within ourselves, this is not to be confused with ultimate perversions of human nature, such as psychopathy and other extreme mental illnesses that are still prevalent in many around the world.
In more mystical terms, these extreme acts of evil, such as murder, various forms of torture, and the sexual abuse of both children and adults that still occur within many homes, are associated with Shaitán. The other day, I came across some stories that nearly made me vomit due to the horrific acts detailed by official government and police intel. I do have a post in mind highlighting some of these stories and approaching them from a more spiritual and psychological perspective, but I’m not sure my stomach can handle it just yet.

What is a disorder?
Before I begin describing some of these prevalent personality disorders that we may find amongst different groups, whether that be within our homes, friend circle, religious circle, or any other group we may associate with; it’s important to understand what is meant by a disorder. When we look at the definition of disorder, the word speaks for itself as it describes a lack of order. From a medical and psychological stance, many people will show a set of problems or difficulty in regular function, whether that be in how they relate with themselves, family members, co-workers, or other people, and even how they deal with different circumstances that they encounter throughout life.
In fact, this is when many people seek therapy so that they understand how to navigate these issues by hopefully understanding themselves better and the cause that is disrupting these regular functions, mental and sometimes even physical. Easier said than done. There is still a lot of stigma around mental health and therapy, and many people will refrain from seeking help when they need it. Unfortunately, other times, some refrain because they just don’t care about you or anyone else enough for them to change their ways.
Fortunately, though, in the age of information, we are all provided with a lens and various tools to self-reflect. I’ve come across people with disturbing personality disorders, such as sociopathy and NPD, who have learned about their own impulses and tendencies and are doing their job and mission to make people like themselves and others more aware of the various causes and implications of living with such traits. But as with anything, sometimes people tend to glorify and undermine the consequences of these disorders and how they can affect other people. So, yes, while for survival purposes, many of such tendencies served us in the past, it doesn’t mean that now we should romanticize or glorify them in any way. For the most part, the implications are far too grave and should be taken more than seriously. I say that from experience.

Misuse of information | Mental Health
Also, many are misusing all of this information, using it for their own selfish gain, even distorting sacred scriptures, misleading thousands of followers by causing confusion through dogma and fear-mongering lies. These are wolves in sheep’s clothing, and it takes a fine toothcomb to spot them. They will only select a set of information available as long as it fits their agenda and breeds more dogmatic followers, psychologically and intellectually going backward to medieval times, as long as they donate their precious money to them. These are the same people who, probably during those same times, burned women and men alive by calling them witches and devils because they sought knowledge. It’s really mindblowing to see how power can be so easily misused and how some are so keen on going backward instead of forward, even in 2024. I honestly don’t get it sometimes.
There are others teaching people various abusive and toxic methods to be able to manipulate and have their specific person of interest under total psychological control, especially when it comes to romantic relationships. While this all seems like fun and games at first, there are serious implications and psychological consequences of these various toxic methods, and we should be able to discern and see through those manipulative ways for the betterment of our mental health. There are people with thousands and thousands of followers who are teaching dark psychology that can drive people as far as suicide and have absolutely no conscience or remorse over it. So yes, information is powerful and a gift, but as with anything, you have to make a choice on how to use it and what to use it for, as it will without a doubt create a ripple effect in others, whether you know it or not.

A list of prevalent personality disorders you should watch out for
While I initially wanted to write in-depth about some of these prevalent personality disorders, I might have to do that in the next post. So, keep an eye out for the next post. Also, in my book, How to Get on the Good Side of Life, you will find a lot of useful information on your journey to self-discovery and mental health.
- ASPD
- Borderline Personality Disorder
- NPD (Covert & Overt)
- Histrionic
- Psychopathy
While there are many similarities that overlap between these various personality disorders listed above, there are many differences as well. Generally, they all involve a lack of empathy. Some of these types of individuals were made, such as sociopaths, because of the way that they were raised, where their environment did not reward emotional intelligence and being self-expressive, and others, such as Psychopaths, are generally seen in the realm of psychology as being born that way. Narcissists, for instance, after committing various transgressions towards others, feel shame; psychopaths, on the other hand, show absolutely no sign of emotional stimuli or remorse toward their victims.
Psychopaths are known to pass lie detectors very well because of the lack of emotional arousal when being questioned. Psychopaths are very skilled at orchestrating their crimes during long periods. These are the people who will wait for their revenge and orchestrate it in the most finite details. Sociopaths tend to be more clumsy with their crimes, and most of our prisons are filled with Sociopaths. What you need to keep in mind is that not only prisons are filled with these types, but also CEO positions, political parties, religious organizations, various yoga or spiritual organizations, and anything and everything you can think of.
Narcissists love to talk about themselves, and if there is anyone around them who talks about something that they’ve accomplished, they will go into a narcissistic rage and say, “But I do that; I can do that! I did that!” That’s just a small tip on how to spot one. They are extremely insecure and cannot handle insults or any injury to their ego but surely love to project all of that onto you, which I find hilarious.
As mentioned previously, keep an eye out for the next post.
