In the moonlit midnight sky,
An unfathomable being came to pry,
‘Twas a faint and distant sound,
An enigmatic friend who comes around,
When I least expect its presence
It lends even more credence
A luminous guide—that persuades me back to the divine,
To believe in a miracle—a glorious and heavenly time,
Visible after so long—my disheartened mind still turned away,
But my humble heart—knew what it wanted to convey,
A forgotten promise, perhaps once given to me
From an ineffable being and otherworldly mystery
A gentle reminder in my weariest of days
When the whole world is mute, and I’m lost in a haze
To remember the stars and the moon are alive,
And to let my spirit once again revive
With hope and love for a destined hour
Where my heart’s wishes bloom like a moonflower.
